Easy Vegan Blender Chocolate Milk

I’m on a chocolate bender and am not complaining one bit.

Dark chocolate is good for you… right?

Even if the answer is “uh no not really” I can’t stop won’t stop.

I didn’t grow up drinking chocolate milk but for some reason I craveee it from time to time.

With a side of pickles!

Just kidding, I’m not preggo haha.

So here we are.

And yes I’m aware you can purchase nondairy chocolate beverages and be all set, but I wanted to make my own, having the necessary ingredients on hand and all.

I simply blended up unsweetened unflavored oat milk (use your fave nondairy beverage, and adjust the sweetness accordingly) with cacao powder, pure maple syrup, real deal vanilla extract, and a pinch of pink sea salt until frothy and fabulous.

You can also add a dollop of melted dark chocolate for a richer chocolate milk, but I honestly prefer the version with just cacao powder.

It’s healthy enough to down for breakfast he he.

P.S. If you are adding melted chocolate, be sure to use a chocolate with a lower cocoa percentage so it blends in better with the milk. Amalgamate that ish. (I don’t know for certain if that is actually a true fact but it seemed that way to me!)

P.P.S. And yes you get extra credit if you include a blob of peanut butter in on the fun. Do it.
